Each year our Association awards prizes to the top third and fourth year students in BCIT's Joinery Program.

APPRENTICESHIPCONTEST AWARD
This award recognizes the winner of the AWMAC BC Apprenticeship Contest held on the BCIT campus. The winning cabinet of each AWMAC Chapter will go on to compete in the National Contest. KWANTLENPOLYTECHNICUNIVERSITYDESIGN AWARD
The Kwantlen Polytechnic University Design Award recognizes excellence by a student in the Interior Design Program.

GUARANTEEAND INSPECTION SERVICE AWARD
The GuaranteeandInspectionService(GIS), together with the specified reference of the current edition of AWMAC's STANDARDS, gives purchasers assurance of quality in materials and workmanship on their architectural woodwork projects. This Awardis for the Member firm that had the largest number of deficiency free GIS inspections in the past year.

WORKSAFEBC SAFETY INNOVATION AWARD
Recognizing innovative programs, policies, tools or projects, that assist in reducing workplace injuries. WINNER - CURRENT MILLWORK (2012) LTD. Jason Howlett (left) of Current Millwork (2012) Ltd. received the WorkSafeBC Safety Innovation Award from Rose MacDonald, WorkSafeBC.
ABOVE& BEYOND AWARD
The Above and Beyond Award recognizes personal dedication to the Association by promoting its goals and programs as well as fostering goodwill and friendship amongst its members.
